Sports Logo Design
Overview
Commissioned by the Super Design Bowl, we were asked to update the original California Golden Seals NHL logo.
Approaching this project, we recognized seals are not known for being intimidating and predatory animals. The biggest challenge we needed to overcome was creating an identity that fit the aggressive style of play hockey is known for with an anatomically accurate depiction of a seal.
