A prominent construction service company in southeastern TN wanted to expand its sub-brand portfolio.
The first sub-branded company they launched was a roofing company called RoofingCo.com. The identity we developed for this company would lay the groundwork for how we approached the branding of future brands such as ConcreteCo.com.
The Problem
With RoofingCo.com being the first of many brands to be created, we knew we had to be strategic in our design choices, final logo, and brand assets as they would lay the groundwork for future brands. The ownership team wanted a cohesive portfolio of sub-brands that fit together when you see them next to each other.
The Solution
We developed multiple color schemes, logo families, and brand assets to present to RoofingCo.com’s ownership group. With a strategic approach to building a new brand, we developed a unique logo system that could scale with the creation of future sub-brands.
Logo Design
When we sat down with RoofingCo.com’s ownership group, we walked them through our “brand noun” exercise to discover their core values. We analyze a company’s core values and identify ways to embody them through a unique logo design. The list of RoofingCo.com’s brand nouns included:
